Let’s play with your Pastels!
This is to be an interactive demo. Please come expecting to play or you can just sit back and watch the craziness! I will hopefully be both encouraging and helpful to expand your creative self to just play. We will experiment as I share things that I have learned or perhaps just some things that I want to try. And we will have such fun! The supply list is just your studio basics, but please open your mind and toss in a few things that you think “might” work at playtime. And do expect me to have a few surprises in store! I want you to play with me, so please have some scrap pastel papers of various brands and sizes and perhaps a dozen (non-precious) pastel sticks in a variety of colors. Plan to watch this zoom show in a spot that can get “dusty”! J We will be sharing unusual tools and ideas with each other so please grab some random tools of your own.
(some ideas to jumpstart your brainstorming….stencils, sharpies, textured papers, clear gesso, floral stakes, inks or paints, etc.)
